Inner North West Melbourne Medicare Local (INWMML) is an independent, locally governed and run, not for profit organisation dedicated to improving primary health care in our local communities.
Medicare Locals:
• Deliver real community and patient benefit through locally tailored, integrated and coordinated services;
• Provide support to clinicians and service providers in order to improve patient care;
• Deliver productivity gains by in health care delivery by identifying the health needs of local areas and developing locally focused and responsive services;
• Support local communities and local experts to be in charge of their own primary health care needs; and,
• Are efficient and accountable with strong local governance and effective management.
